1. Services Provided

The Cozy Writers Nook, LLC provides professional editorial services, including but not limited to developmental editing, copyediting, proofreading, and writing consultations. The specific scope of work, deadlines, and deliverables will be outlined in a separate Project Agreement or invoice for each individual client.

2. Payment Terms

• Deposits: A non-refundable deposit of [Percentage, e.g., 25%] is required to secure your spot on our editorial calendar.

• Invoicing: Final payment is due upon delivery of the edited manuscript unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

3. Intellectual Property

• Editor’s Work: All suggestions, feedback, and editorial notes provided by The Cozy Writers Nook, LLC are for your use in improving your manuscript. We claim no ownership or royalties over the finished work.

• Credit: While not required, we appreciate a mention in your book’s acknowledgments if our services significantly contributed to your publication journey.
   

4. Confidentiality
 

We understand the sensitive nature of unpublished manuscripts. All materials submitted to The Cozy Writers Nook, LLC remain strictly confidential. We will not share, sell, or distribute your work to third parties without your express written consent.
 

5. Accuracy and Guarantees

While we strive for perfection, editing is a human process. We do not guarantee that a manuscript will be 100% free of errors, nor do we guarantee that our services will result in traditional publication, literary representation, or specific sales targets. The final responsibility for the accuracy and content of the work remains with the Author.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate a project at any time with written notice. In the event of termination, the Client is responsible for payment for all work completed up to the date of notice.

7. Changes to Terms

​

The Cozy Writers Nook, LLC reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms & Conditions.
